Indonesia-Korea Cooperation to Restore Peatlands in Jambi

A collaborative project between Indonesia and the Republic of Korea to restore fire-scorched peatlands in Tanjung Jabung Timur and Muaro Jambi Regency has started. The project is expected to restore the Londerang protected peat forest area, covering an area of 12,000 hectares that was torn apart due to inappropriate canal construction.
The collaboration between Indonesia and Korea is getting closer with the start of a joint project to restore peatlands that were burnt in Tanjung Jabung Timur and Muaro Jambi Regency.
