The Government of Indonesia and the Republic of Korea collaborate to restore peatlands, an asset that is recognized worldwide as the frontier in facing global disasters resulted from climate change.

The collaboration between Indonesia and Korea is getting closer with the start of a joint project to restore burnt peatlands in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency and Muaro Jambi Regency. The project is expected to restore the Londerang Peat Protected Forest, covering an area of ​​12,000 hectares that was torn apart due to inappropriate canal construction.
