Korean Journalists Visit Indonesia
The Korea Forest Service (KFS) organized a visit to Indonesia for 10 Korean Journalists on 7th March to 12 March 2016. The objectives of the visit was for news cover on Indonesia Forest and Korea-Indonesia Forest Cooperation. The journalists and the name of the media were :

- Mr. Lee, Jong Seob (Kyunghyang Shinmun)
- Mr. Kim, Yang Su (Newsis)
- Mr. Lee, Ki Jin (Dong-A Ilbo)
- Mr. Lee, Joon Ki (Digital Times)
- Mr. Kim, Chang Hee (Munhwa Ilbo)
- Mr. Park, Seung Ki (Seoul Shinmun)
- Mr. Im, Jeng Jae (Segye Times)
- Mr. Cho, Seong Jun (CBS)
They were accompanied by three staffs from Korea Forest Service : 1.Mr. Cho Jun Kuy; 2. Mr. Ko, Jeong Ho and 3. Mr. Go Gwang il.

On 8th March, they visited Korea-Indonesia Forest Center (KIFC) and Sentul Eco-Edu Tourism Forest (SEETF). On this occasion presentations on Korea-Indonesia forest cooperation were given as the following :
Mr. Sugeng Marsudiarto : ‘An overview of Indonesian Forest’
Mr. Moon Jongpil : ‘Current Projects of Korea Indonesia Forest Center’
Mr. LEE Sunghwan : ‘Progress of Korea Indonesia FMU/REDD+ Joint Project’
Mr. LEE Changjae : ‘Indonesia Wood Biomass Plantation Project’
Mr. YOON Kyung il : ‘Status of Indonesia Forest Development’
On the following day, on 9th March, the program was continued with a field trip to KORINDO plantation and factory at Pangkalan Bun South Kalimantan. They visited Clonal Test area of Eucalyptus pelita, and also factory of wood pellet.
On the third day, 10th March, the team went back to Jakarta for visit to Botanical Garden at Bogor. Before going back to Korea, they had a Jakarta City tour for one day on 11th March.
Based on the presentation, discussion and field visit, all the Journalist gave a good impression on the cooperation on forestry between Korea and Indonesia.
